The Palestinian Technological and Entrepreneurship sector is blooming, quickly. A lot of Global companies have acknowledged this progress and started investing in Palestine. And when it comes to investing in young entrepreneurs, Google has been a pioneer and always around!

In the past two years, Google came to Palestine and invested, time, resources and money. We’ve seen Gisel Kordestani, Nick Heller, Ahmad Hamzawi, Mohammed Gawdat, Chewy Trewhella and many other Googlers coming to Palestine, giving workshops and hosting events.

Google continues its support to Palestinian Entrepreneurs, we are so excited that Google will be joining as a platinum sponsor for Startup Weekend Ramallah! Isn’t that great? ينمو القطاع التكنولوجي والريادي في فلسطين بشكل سريع جداً. تعي العديد من الشركات العالمية الأمر وتتطلع إلى فلسطين كسوق مستقبلي مزدهر، بدأت الشركات بالاستثمار ودعم القطاع في فلسطين. ولعل أول شركة تخطر في البال عند التكلم عن الإنترنت، الموبايل والريادة التكنولوجية هي شركة جوجل العالمية.

هذا لم يأت من فراغ، فالكل يعلم أن جوجل خلال السنتان السابقتان استثمرت الوقت، المصادر والمال في فلسطين. رأينا جيزيل كورديستاني، أحمد حمزاوي، نك هيلير، محمد جودت و تشوي ترويلا والعديد من موظفي جوجل من جميع أنحاء مكاتبهم (لندن، كاليفورنيا، زيورخ، مصر، دبي…) قد قدموا عدة مرات ليقدموا التدريب، الدعم ولتستضيف فعاليات تقنية وغيرها.
